How long does the flight last?

Five jars across face and body typically carry a household about ten weeks, which is why the subscription renews every 3 months by default. You can adjust the cadence anytime in your account.

Can I swap a jar in my flight?

At launch the Flight ships as the full line of five. Tell us in the post-purchase survey if you want swap options. We are working on it.

Is the kit or the flight the better deal?

The kit, if you will blend: $110 one time, or $82.50 on a first subscription, and it makes all five. It is sold out at the moment and ships in about three weeks on pre-order. The Flight is the same five, poured and set by us, ready the night it arrives.

Is it gift-ready?

Yes. Five jars, five colors, one very good box. The one-time Flight at $308 is the biggest gift we make.

Before you buy

Beef fat on my face?

Does it smell like beef?

Suet rendered gently has almost none. Bare Silk is unscented. The other four smell of their botanicals.

Is it greasy?

A pea-sized amount on damp skin finishes matte. Greasy means you used too much.

Will it clog my pores?

Tallow scores low to moderate on comedogenic scales. Patch test if you are blemish-prone.

Is the dose real?

“With bakuchiol” on a label can mean a trace. Velvet’s is a true 1%, stated on the page, twice the dose in the published trial.
