- Makes all five Craft Tallow balms. Bought as finished jars they run $308. The kit is $110, and the difference is five minutes of blending per jar, which you may come to like more than the balm.
- Five vials, one for each recipe. Each vial holds the complete botanical blend for one recipe, measured at our bench so your 1% is an actual 1%.
- About five minutes a jar. The warming plate, pipette, and recipe deck come in the box. Warming butter without burning it is the whole skill.

Inside the jar
Five base jars (1.5 oz each) of regeneratively farmed, grass-fed suet tallow with a touch of organic arrowroot. Five amber vials, one for each balm, each holding the complete botanical blend for its recipe (the manuka honey extract rides in the Honey Glow vial). A circle warming plate, a precision pipette, and the recipe deck.
The ritual
1 · Warm. Set a tallow base on the warming plate until it melts, hands-free, like a candle warmer.
2 · Blend. Add your vial, drop by drop with the pipette, following the recipe card.
3 · Store. Stir or whip, cap, and shelf: your blend sets into a finished balm in its own jar.

Do I need any experience or equipment?
None. The warming plate, pipette, and step-by-step recipe cards are in the box. If you can make tea, you can blend a balm.
How long does it take?
About five minutes a jar, most of it hands-free while the base melts on the warming plate.
Are these the same recipes as your finished balms?
Yes. Every balm we sell began as a kit recipe, and each vial holds the complete botanical blend for its jar, in the same proportions.
How often does the kit renew?
